Do you like dance flicks? Do you also like comedies? Well then Hollywood's got something in store for you! How about a comedy dance flick? It's called Dance Flick and it's soon hitting the cinemas. I'm looking forward to this one. It's by the Wayans brothers and I'm a big fan of them.
The movie storyline goes like this. Thomas Uncles is a black guy from the wrong side of the tracks. He loves to dance. He meets Megan White, a white girl whose dance moves are so clumsy that she ends up hitting everybody in her near vicinity. Both have a passion for dancing and this brings them together.
Because Thomas and Megan are now hanging out with each other so often and following their passion together, they start having some feelings of passion for each other. On many occasions, they try to kiss each other, only to have their intimate moment interrupted by somebody walking in or walking by.
After having gotten much practice and training, Thomas and Megan decide to enter the biggest dancing contest in the hood. I won't spoil how it ends, so you'd better see the movie yourself. Dance Flick parodies dance movies such as Step Up, You Got Served and also the classic movie Flashdance.
I must say I can't wait to watch Dance Flick free online. I'm a big, longtime fan of the Wayans brothers and they never fail at cracking me up with their shenanigans. This movie has Damon Wayans Jr., Craig Wayans and the very lovely Shoshana Bush as Megan White.
This Paramount picture is coming out on May 22nd, 2009. It's directed by Damien Dante Wayans, himself a Wayans brother. This movie has a PG13 rating because it has crude content all throughout the movie. There are also plenty of sexually suggestive remarks. In other words, go see it!
